Fine Dining

An arched vault on the ground floor provides the space for the kitchen and dining room. Recently exposed walls reveals the aged stonework dating back over 400 years. A wonderfully atmospheric place to prepare meals and feast on the history of a house built during the time of the Knights of St John.

A fully equipped kitchen allows one to indulge in flights of culinary fancy. The local dishes are based on pasta (not surprsing given the proximity to Sicily), rabbit stew (fenek), fish (grilled or fried lampuki or set in a pastry pie).

Anyone for Rabbit?

On a fine summer's (or winter's) day or evening you can enjoy the small open air courtyard that leads off the kitchen/diner. Indulge yourself with a good book, a fine wine, interesting company whilst enjoying the peal of bells from St George's Basillica or birdsong. Alternatively the sounds of the fireworks during many of the street festas - not to be missed!
